Whole Foods Market is set to launch six new London stores by June.
The grocery chain, which reported a loss in September, is opening new shops in Angel, Liverpool Street, Notting Hill Gate, Wood Wharf (Canary Wharf), Monument and St. James’s.
The new sites will double the supermarket’s UK store portfolio to 12.
The shops will sell a selection of organic and fresh produce, as well as prepared foods including salads, sandwiches and hot meals. It will also offer meat and seafood, bakery products and speciality foods.
Additional departments in the new sites will offer wellness and beauty items, and exclusive products including drinks, flowers and plants.
Whole Foods Market is set to make a food donation to food redistribution charity The Felix Project at its Angel, Wood Wharf and St. James openings.

Whole Foods Market CEO Jason Buechel said: “We’re happy to be expanding Whole Foods Market’s physical store presence in the UK, allowing us to reach more customers with our uncompromising quality standards and carefully curated selection of natural and organic products.
“Each new store represents an opportunity to bring responsibly sourced, high-quality food to more communities who share our values of nourishing people and the planet.”
It comes after the retailer launched its first new UK store in a decade in March 2025. The company also opened a new store in Westminster last year.
