Laura Ashley says its turnaround under Marquee Brands continued through 2025 and into the first quarter of 2026, with the heritage brand reporting 15 per cent year-on-year sales growth and strong momentum across both home and fashion in the UK.
The brand said its enhanced partnership with Next has been central to that progress, helping to widen distribution across more categories and channels.
In Q1 2026, Laura Ashley said sales through Next were particularly strong in girlswear and womenswear, which together rose 81 per cent year on year, while big-ticket home categories including upholstery and lighting also performed well.
Laura Ashley also pointed to the performance of its Thurrock store, opened in September 2025, as evidence that its return to the high street is gaining traction.
The business said the site had delivered strong customer engagement and had helped pave the way for further store openings over the coming year as it builds a more joined-up omnichannel model.
Alongside the UK push, Laura Ashley is continuing to widen its product offer and international reach.
The brand said 2025 saw launches in categories including swimwear, greeting cards and flowers, while growth plans remain in place across South Korea, Japan and the US.
Marquee Brands acquired Laura Ashley from Gordon Brothers in January 2025, saying at the time that it would use the brand’s licensing model, UK team and global partner network to drive expansion across categories and markets.
