It’s that time of year again when the entire marketing industry abandons the dreary old UK (not so dreary this year) for the South of France.
Yes, its Cannes Lions again.
We take a look at some of the winners from this years Awards.
Audio and Radio Lions
Audio and Radio Lions received 513 entries and 15 Lions handed out, 2 Gold, 5 Silver, 7 Bronze and the Grand Prix.
Hyundai Puerto Rico’s ‘Coquí Alarmed’ won the top prize. It was created by BBDO Puerto Rico, Guaynabo.
Creative Brand Lions
A brand new category for 2026, Creative Brand Lions had 71 entries and 2 Lions awarded, 1 Creative Brand Lion and the Grand Prix.
The Grand Prix went to AB InBev’s ‘AB InBev: Creativity at Scale’. Created by Anheuser-Busch InBev, Leuven, the campaign showcases how creativity can be “embedded into organisational culture”.
Creative B2B Lions
Creative B2B Lions received over 355 entries this year. From these 11 Lions were handed out, 2 Gold, 4 Silver, 4 Bronze.
‘The Faroe Islands Space Program’ for SKF won the Grand Prix. The work was created by NORD Stockholm.
Entertainment Lions
The Entertainment category had 656 entries and 20 Lions were awarded, 3 Gold, 6 Silver, 10 Bronze.
Adidas’ ‘Original Forever’ won the Grand Prix. Created by Johannes Leonardo, New York and Adidas, London, the work was inspired by the retailer’s history with Britpop group Oasis.
Entertainment Lions for Gaming
The category received 216 entries and 8 awards were handed out- 1 Gold, 2 Silver and 4 Bronze.
The Grand Prix was awarded to ‘Copycat’s Welcome’ for Clash Royale. The campaign was devised by David, New York.
Entertainment Lions for Music
The Entertainment Lions for Music category had 318 entries. 2 Gold, 2 Silver and 7 Bronze awards were handed out.
In this cateogry two Grand Prixs were awarded to ‘Rosalía Ft. Björk, Yves Tumor – Berghain’, and ‘Original Forever’, for adidas.
Entertainment Lions for Sport
Entertainment Lions for sport had 660 entries and 21 awards were given out, 3 Gold, 6 Silver, 11 Bronze and the Grand Prix.
The top prize went to Club Deportivo Municipal’s ‘The Thousand Sponsors of Muni’, for Club Deportivo Municipal, by McCann, Lima.
Health and Wellness Lions
This category had 889 entries and gave out 31 awards- 5 Gold, 10 Silver, 15 Bronze and the top prize, the Grand Prix.
The Grand Prix went to ‘The Periodic Fable’ by SMUGGLER London and Uncommon Creative Studios for The Ordinary.
It identified “unregulated marketing terms” and reclassified them within a “reimagined periodic table”.
Caritas’s ‘Vehicle of Hope’, devised by Differ Stockholm won the Lions Health and United Nations Foundation Grand Prix for Good Award.
Outdoor Lions
Celebrating all things out-of-home, Outdoor Lions gave out 40 awards- 7 Gold, 13 Silver, 19 Bronze and the top prize, the Grand Prix.
The category received 1410 entries.
Outdoor Lions top prize went to Mercado Livre’s ‘Field Barcode’. Devised by GUT São Paulo, the marketing drive transformed Pacaembu stadium in Brazil into a 104 metre wide barcode.
Print and Publishing Lions
The category received 418 entries and 13 Lions were awarded- 2 Gold, 4 Silver, 6 Bronze plus the Grand Prix.
The Grand Prix this year was won by Kraft Heinz for its ‘Look Familiar?’ marketing drive, which was devised by creative agency Rethink Toronto.
Pharma Lions
Pharma Lions had 236 entries and 7 awards were awarded: 1 Gold, 2 Silver, 3 Bronze and of course the Grand Prix.
The top award went to Norvatis’ ‘Relax Your Tight End’. It was created by Fallon Minneapolis.
