Under Armour has named Grammy-nominated artist Gunna as its new global brand ambassador and creative director of P-Star, a creative platform that will span apparel, footwear, storytelling and community initiatives.

Gunna will be responsible for growing P-Star as a creative platform. The platform will debut on 27 August at A Ma Maniere Atlanta and UA.com with a 14 piece collection, which has been inspired by the “rhythm of Gunna’s everyday life”.

The collection includes shorts, tees, sweats and American football-inspired HeatGear styles. At the centre of the collection is UA Scorpio, Gunna’s first official footwear collaboration with the brand. The shoe will be available in an exclusive colourway.

Founder and CEO of Under Armour Kevin Plank said: “Over the past two years, Gunna has embraced a lifestyle centred on discipline, movement and wellness.

“He trains almost every day and has built the Wunna Run run club that now brings thousands of people together in cities around the world. This intentionality toward self-preservation has become the epicentre of this collaboration with Under Armour.”

Gunna says: “Under Armour understands that vision and has given me the space to build something that brings together style, performance and community.

“For me, it’s about moving forward, creating something meaningful and building something that can continue to grow.”

P-Star will follow its initial launch up in early 2027 with a new capsule collection ‘Wanna Run’.

The pair have also committed to expanding access to sport – particularly football and flag football- . It will continue to provide food, clothing, school supplies and financial assistance to families across Georgia through Gunna’s Great Giveaway Foundation.
