Cotswold Outdoor has unveiled its new campaign, which showcases the animals that call the outdoors home.
The marketing drive, titled ‘We speak outdoors’, will run nationwide and highlights that it has chosen to the centre its campaign around animals as they speak the language of the outdoors best.
Alongside the campaign, which was devised in partnership with Vector Media and creative studio Ourselves, the retailer has launched a floor refresh across all its stores.
The refresh will highlight its autumn and winter lines which features exclusive ranges from brands such as Mountain Equipment, Rab, Merrell and Scarpa.
According to Cotswold Outdoor, ‘We Speak Outdoors’ is supported by a data-led measurement framework which aims to assess the impact of brand activity and inform future investment.
Jamie Kristow, CEO of Cotswold Outdoor Group, said: “‘We’re excited to launch ‘We speak outdoors’ nationwide this season. The campaign brings the brand to life through animals that know the outdoors better than anyone. It’s a playful idea, but one that perfectly reflects what sits at the heart of our brand: people who genuinely know, love and live the outdoors too.
“This campaign brings that expertise to life in a distinctive way, while creating a stronger and more consistent experience for customers across our stores and digital channels. Underpinned by a rigorous and data-led approach to measuring brand effectiveness, it will also help us to better understand the impact of brand investment and inform the next stage of our growth.”
Andrew Scott, Head of Buying at Cotswold Outdoor Group, added: “Our customers come to Cotswold Outdoor because they want the right kit, trusted advice and confidence for whatever the outdoors has in store. That means combining expert advice with a carefully selected range from the best outdoor brands, including exclusive products they won’t find everywhere else.
“Working closely with brands such as Rab allows us to bring customers standout products alongside the technical expertise in our stores, which is exactly what ‘We speak outdoors’ is about.”
