The Perfume Shop is set to hire 800 Christmas sales assistants, to work across its busy peak period.
Temporary vacancies have already opened in selected locations, with hundreds more set to go live this month and in early October.
Michelle Fellows, people, sustainability and development director at The Perfume Shop, said: “Our Christmas perfume people become an important part of our store teams at the busiest and most exciting time of the year.
“With around 800 opportunities becoming available across the UK and Ireland, we’re looking forward to welcoming lots of new faces into the business. A seasonal role can be a great way to experience the workplace for the first time and learn what it’s like to be part of a busy team.”
She added: “We want everyone who joins us for the festive season to get something valuable from their time at The Perfume Shop, whether that’s new skills, greater confidence, additional income or experience that helps them decide where they want to go next.”
Earlier this month, The Perfume Shop launched a personalised consultation designed to help shoppers rediscover the perfumes they love as their “sense of smell, preferences and lifestyle naturally evolve over time”.
The launch forms part of the company’s wider strategy to continue evolving its in-store customer experience through specialist expertise, personalisation and retail services.
