Fashion brand Topshop is making a surprise early return to the high street next week with John Lewis pop-ups.

The clothing retailer is launching the series of exclusive pop-ups across select John Lewis stores from 3 November.

Topshop will be available in four shops across the country, with pop-ups based on the womenswear floor of John Lewis’ London Oxford Street, Bristol, Leeds, and Liverpool stores.

The initiative comes ahead of the full-scale launch of Topshop in 32 John Lewis stores, with Topman in six of the stores, which is scheduled for February 2026.

Each pop-up will feature a curated selection of around 30 pieces, which will change weekly.

The garments will consist of “statement outerwear, iconic denim, cult knits and must-have partywear,” according to the business, which will be available in-store and via the John Lewis app.

The first 100 customers in each store will receive a Topshop tote bag, with further giveaways planned throughout the six-week takeover.

On London’s Oxford Street, Topshop will host weekly DJ sessions every Thursday evening from 13 November.

Running through to Christmas, the pop-ups are set to offer a “seasonal snapshot” of Topshop’s collection, the company said.

Topshop managing director Michelle Wilson said, “We’ve seen an incredible response to Topshop’s return, and we know our customers are excited to shop the brand in person again.

“By taking our winter and party collections beyond London, the Topshop pop-ups bring our signature energy and style to locations across the UK, just in time for the festive season.”

John Lewis director of fashion Rachel Morgans said: “We’ve been listening to how excited [customers] are for Topshop’s return, so as their sole nationwide partner, this felt like the perfect moment for a ‘teaser’ pop-up.

“We’re bringing a curated edit of statement winter and partywear to our stores in London’s Oxford Street, Bristol, Leeds, Liverpool, and on our app. It’s an exciting glimpse of what’s to come next year.”

In August, Topshop returned to UK high streets via Liberty, which became the brand’s first domestic stockist.

The retailer also recently relaunched its standalone website, more than four years after it was shut down following its sale to Asos.
