Next marketing boss resigns after 30 years

Christine Gerrard has stepped down from her role as Next’s marketing director after three decades with the high street chain.

Gerrard became marketing director in 2007, replacing Sue Myatt, another former long term team member of Next.

Gerrard first joined Next as a buyer in 1987 and spent eight years in that role before taking over the running of Next’s public relations department.

She remained in the role for 11 years before being promoted to head of marketing.

Next is currently looking for a replacement for Gerrard.

The fashion retailer is also set to reveal its second quarter trading update later this week, with industry experts predicting another drop in sales.

    Hello, is it allowed to separate the appliqués from worn Next clothes and sew what new ones from them and sell them commercially? Are your applications protected?
