Next marketing boss resigns after 30 years

Christine Gerrard

Christine Gerrard has stepped down from her role as Next’s marketing director after three decades with the high street chain.

Gerrard became marketing director in 2007, replacing Sue Myatt, another former long term team member of Next.

Gerrard first joined Next as a buyer in 1987 and spent eight years in that role before taking over the running of Next’s public relations department.
