Jack Wills has signed up for a 5000sq ft store at Intu Watford’s new extension, adding to the list of major retailers poised to open at the shopping centre.
Intu Watford’s £180 million expansion is due to open its first phase in October 2018, and has already confirmed a 113,000sq ft Debenhams anchor and a 6530sq ft Superdry alongside another 11 stores.
The 400,000sq ft expansion is due make Watford one of the UK’s top 20 retail destinations, according to the CACI.
“Intu Watford’s extension is going to be a key opening for us this year,” Jack Wills property director Neil Beaman said.
Intu regional managing director Rebecca Ryman added: “It is a fantastic site at the heart of a growing town with access to a large proportion of our target customers.
“The expansion of intu Watford is enabling us to create even more premium space for high quality retail, restaurant and leisure brands within a destination where they can really flourish.”
