Burberry appoints new chief marketing officer

Burberry has appointed Rod Manley to the post of chief marketing officer.

Effective from January 1, Manley will lead the luxury fashion label and retailer’s marketing, communications, and creative media teams from London.

He will report to Burberry chief executive Marco Gobbetti.

“I am delighted to announce the appointment of Rod Manley as chief marketing officer,” Gobbetti said.

“Rod’s experience and expertise will be invaluable as we continue to strengthen the Burberry brand and position the business for growth.”

Manley previously worked as executive vice president for marketing and communications at Calvin Klein in New York, and has held senior positions at Giorgio Armani.
