Morrisons re-opens pizza counters

Morrisons has confirmed that it will re-open its pizza counters across its stores this week to give customers the chance to buy affordable handmade pizzas while in lockdown.

The Big 4 grocer said that while lockdown has made it tougher for people to get their favourite takeaway pizzas, its new £7 combo deal was on average 25 per cent cheaper than offerings from high street or delivery chains.

Morrisons pizza counters are located in the Market Street section within their stores.

“Staying home has never been more important, so we hope that this deal offers customers a taste of their favourite takeaway – but at a fraction of the price,” Morrisons Market Street buying manager Leanne Cory said.
