Notonthehighstreet has appointed the former Comparethemarket and Carphone Warehouse commercial finance director Ed Wagener as chief financial officer.
Wagener has over 15 years’ experience in senior finance roles, most recently as chief financial officer at Comparethemarket.com, and previously as financial director at Carphone Warehouse.
He will work in close partnership with Notonthehighstreet chief executive Claire Davenport and lead and develop the finance and legal team, with a focus on maintaining operational efficiency.

Wagener spent nine years at Carphone Warehouse both in the UK and abroad. His experience at board level has seen him lead competitive and consumer led strategies, improve commercial structures and drive performance across digital and retail sectors.
