Fashion giant Arcadia Group has appointed ex-American Express e-commerce boss Alex Tait to lead its flourishing multichannel operation, it has been announced today.

Previously working as Director of International Digital Acquisition at the financial services company, Tait will now take charge of Arcadia‘s digital strategy across all its brands, including Topshop, Dorothy Perkins and BHS, it is understood.

Reporting to Simon Pritchard, Global Group Director of e-Commerce at the group, Tait takes over from Graham Morrell, who was poached by Jack Wills last October to head up its global e-commerce team.
