Harvey Nichols has announced the opening of its newest store in Baku, Azerbaijan, offering the luxury Azeri shopper a powerhouse of exclusive fashion, beauty and hospitality.

Located at Globus Plaza shopping mall, in the heart of the Nasimi district, the new store boasts a gross area of 110,000 sq ft, over seven floors. The store is home to over 500 international designer brand, inviting customers to shop an edit of womenswear, menswear, childrenwear, bridal, perfumery and cosmetics along with a hospitality offer.

Azerbaijan is considered to have the second fastest growing economy of any country between 2000 and 2010 based on GDP and, in the last five years, the number of affluent people in Azerbaijan has more than quadrupled The new Harvey Nichols Baku store has created employment for 500 permanent and full-time staff.

Designed by London based interior design company Four IV, the new store aims to capture “the vibrancy, spirit and energy of Baku”.
