Mulberry‘s Group Finance Director steps down

FashionNews

After eight years‘ service, Mulberry has announced that its Group Finance Director, Roger Mather will be stepping down.

Mather notified the Board of his intention to resign but will remain in the role until 30th June 2016 to ensure a smooth transition with his successor.

Chairman, Godfrey Davis, said in a statement: “The Board would like to express its thanks to Roger for his valuable contribution to the Group over the past eight years during which time we have nearly quadrupled our turnover.

The search for his successor has commenced and we are delighted that Roger has agreed to continue with the Group until the end of June 2016 in order to ensure a professional handover of duties.”

There has been a substantial amount of restructure at the luxury fashion retailer since former CEO Bruno Guillon stepped down last year. Most recently, the British brand‘s newest Creative Director Johnny Coca started in his role and Retail Gazette understands that Coca has been making superficial changes at head office – seemingly this is so he can get the feng shui he needs to design.
