SPAR has appointed its current Chief Executive of its South African business Graham O’Connor as the new President of SPAR International food.

O’Connor will succeed Leo Crawford who has held the position for just over ten years.

The new President was formerly Chief Executive of SPAR South Africa since January 2014 and Divisional Managing Director of SPAR’s KwaZulu Natal Region before that.

I would also like to formally thank Leo Crawford for all his hard work and dedication to the role throughout his outstanding tenure as president” O’Connor said.

SPAR South Africa currently has a total estate of more than 1,440 stores across South Africa, Ireland and Switzerland with revenue exceeding €6.7bn.
