Shopping centre Liverpool One has launched a range of events and installations set to run over the summer.
These include a celebration of the 50th anniversary of The Beatles’ iconic Stg. Pepper‘s Lonely Hearts Club Band, featuring performances from the Merseyside Dance and Drama centre, as well as an inflatable maze for customers to navigate that ran until June 4.
An AstroTurf installation has also been added to the steps of Liverpool One‘s Sugar House, providing room for shoppers to relax in the sun, running until September.
An extension of this in the form of sofa-style grass installations will be available until September in the centre‘s Chavesse Park.
Public pianos will also feature in Liverpool One‘s summer campaign.
Six uniquely-branded pianos complete with sheet music from musicals running in the city will be spread around the centre.
“We are delighted to announce this programme of installations, all of which add something unique to the Liverpool ONE experience,” a spokesperson from Liverpool One‘s owner Grosvenor Europe said.
“These events will enhance our appeal as an all-day destination, and this type of activity underpins findings from CACI earlier this year that revealed more shoppers would recommend Liverpool One as a retail destination than any other in the UK.”
