British retail chain The White Company has opened its first store in New York City’s celebrated Flatiron district this week.
The new flagship is located at 155 Fifth Avenue and stocks a curated selection of the retailer’s homeware, clothing and lifestyle products across 3000sq ft.
The White Company’s new store in New York comes after the retailer first established a presence there with a dedicated US ecommerce website in 2014.
“We are thrilled to be bringing our collections to the USA with our very own store in New York,” founder Chrissie Rucker said.
“I cannot emphasize enough how much love, care and attention goes into every item we make at The White Company, and I absolutely cannot wait to share this across the USA, beginning our story in New York.”
Previous reports indicate the retailer also has plans to open more stores in shopping centres across New York state, New Jersey and Connecticut.
The White Company was was founded by Rucker 22 years ago and now has 56 stores across the UK.
