Sound technology brand Sonos is set to open its first European concept store in the heart of London on November 16.

Located in Earlham Street, Seven Dials, the store is inspired by the New York flagship and has been designed to replicate how the sound system would be implemented in a home environment.

It features a Listening Room where guests can stream their personal music to create their own sonic experience.

Sonos’ new London store will also host to an ongoing line-up of listening events, screenings, cultural talks and installations, with the first being a celebration of David Bowie.

“The entire store experience is based on the idea of being in a really comfortable and inspiring environment,” general store manager Whitney Walker said.

“We’re proud to be opening our first European concept store in London, providing a dedicated space for music fans to create, connect and ultimately discover the best ways to listen to music out loud.”

Sonos already has ambitions to open additional European stores in 2018.
