The Co-op and Vodafone are the only high street chains to have been listed in Stonewall’s latest top 100 LGBT-inclusive employers.

Stonewall’s annual Top 100 Employers list is compiled from submissions to the Workplace Equality Index, a benchmarking tool used by employers to assess their achievements and progress on LGBT equality in the workplace.
For the first time ever, this year’s list marked employers specifically on trans inclusivity, in addition to their work on lesbian, gay and bi inclusive policies.
Vodafone’s ranking at 42 marks the phone supplier and retailer’s debut on the list, while the Co-op’s 66nd placing is a drop down from from 31st in 2017.
Last year, Asda was ranked 25th – but in the 2018 list the Big 4 grocer is no where to be seen.
Stonewall is a British lesbian, gay, bi and trans (LGBT) charity and equality lobby group.
