The parent company of LA-based denim brand and retailer DSTLD has revealed plans to open a UK showroom and list on London’s AIM stock market this year.

DSTLD, founded in 2014 by photographer Corey Epstein and entrepreneur Mark Lynn, is a celebrity favourite that sells jeans directly to consumers for less than $100.

At the moment, UK customers are only able to make purchases through its US website.

Plans to cross the pond come after parent company Digital Brands Group smashed its crowdfunding target at the end of 2018.

The company plans to use the funds raised – around £1.6 million to invest in further growth.

This includes listing DSTLD on London’s AIM – the same market that hosts Asos and Boohoo – by end of the first half, which could value the brand at around £27 million.

Digital Brands Group also plans to open a DSTLD showroom in the UK and additional distribution capabilities, although details remained scant at the time of print.

DSTLD has been worn by high-profile celebrities including Alessandra Ambrosio, Sofia Richie and Cara Delevingne.
