Brooks Brothers has opened its second London store at the O2 Arena’s Icon Outlet in north Greenwich.

The US retailer has revealed a 1600sq ft store on the upper level of the new 210,000sq ft outlet mall which opened its doors in October.

It now joins retailers Cheaney Shoes, Gant, Hackett and Aspinal of London, all of which also opened stores at the centre recently.

Brooks Brothers is renowned as the oldest menswear retailer in the US, and the store’s interior design features vintage elements including natural leather club chairs, cast-iron stools, industrial table lamps, and light oak flooring accented with grey and navy rugs.

“Brooks Brothers has been making strides in the UK market since 2006, and this particular store opening at Icon Outlet represents a new shopping experience where retail and entertainment converge in a unique context,” Brooks Brothers EMEA chief executive Luca Gastaldi said.

Speaking on behalf of AEG and Crosstree, leasing director for Icon Outlet, Marion Dillon said: “The opening of Brooks Brothers enhances our retail line-up of international brands … it is a highly relevant addition for our international customer-base.”
