French Connection has extended the deadline for its sale process as it continues discussions with interested buyers.

The fashion retailer first announced it was “reviewing all strategic options” for its future, back in October.

It had expected the formal sale process to conclude during the first half of the year.

French Connection said discussions have “progressed” today, and “a number” of interested parties are in line.

As a result, the board has extended the deadline for the sale of the business until its interim results are posted on September 17.
