John Lewis has announced a new retail partnership to open Peloton concessions in nine of its stores across the UK.

The department store chain said the concessions will be the first of their kind in the UK.

The first Peloton concession opens today in John Lewis’ new 1400sq ft athleisure area in its flagship Oxford Street shop.

Over the next few months, a further eight Peloton concessions will open in John Lewis shops in Southampton, High Wycombe, Kingston, Welwyn Garden City, Liverpool, Bristol, Horsham and Cheadle.

Customers will be able to shop the latest Peloton clothing and have the opportunity to experience the Peloton Bike, with a personalised walk through, and learn from experts about the live studio experience they can subscribe to and enjoy at home.

Peloton launched its first range of home exercise bikes in the US in 2014 before expanding to the UK and Canada in 2018.
