Moonpig has launched edible birthday cards as part of a limited-edition collection that “taste just like their namesake”.
The edible cake cards each represent a cake flavour; Victoria Sponge, Lemon Drizzle, Battenberg, Swiss Roll and Chocolate, and look exactly like a birthday card.
The collection is designed with cake-related puns and are available to buy now for just £4.99 each.

“The Great British Bake Off has inspired a new generation of cake bakers in the UK and this baking trend has led to the most amount of cake themed cards being sold each year whenever the show was running,” Moonpig Head of Cards and Licensing, Sarah-Jane Porter said.
“So creating a range of edible cards for the start of the new series was a no-brainer.
