Boohoo unveils first beauty collection

The online fast fashion giant Boohoo has launched its first ever beauty range, with 50 cruelty-free and vegan makeup products and accessories.

As with the retailer’s fashion offer, pricing is at the affordable end of the scale and thus is clearly differentiated from the brands available via Debenhams.

Priced between £3-£25, the new collection features a range of affordable brow, lip, eyes and face products. This includes a 36-shade pigmented eyeshadow palette, a radiance boosting liquid blush and a range of setting sprays.

Described by Boohoo, its products have been boosted with key ingredients such as hyaluronic acid, aloe, coconut oil and botanical extracts, along with lightweight, water resistant and transfer proof qualities for “perfect for everyday use and taking a look from day to night”.

In addition to its 100% cruelty-free and vegan formulas, all packaging used within the collection is recyclable.

Lou Maddison, Boohoo’s Lead Hair and Makeup Stylist, said: “The standout product for me has to be the Liquid Blush. I am obsessed! I use a few small dots along the higher points of my cheeks and blend with fingertips, it’s such a natural way to add a glow.”
