The managing director of frozen food retailer Iceland, Richard Walker, has warned that the UK government “can’t entirely shield” people from the effects of the cost-of-living crisis.

Speaking exclusively to Grocery Gazette, Walker said he hopes the UK government will continue to support both families and businesses through “the challenging months ahead”.

    Yes it’s true the government can only do what it can do the cost of living is brutal everyone is struggling it’s going to be like this for along time this war is pointless everyone is suffering around the world unless this war is finished things will improve till then there’s not much we can do
