Boots has revealed its “biggest ever savings” to help support cash-strapped shoppers during the cost-of-living crisis.

The health and beauty retailer has added 60 new lines to its ‘Boots Everyday’ value range, and has also renewed its Price Lock initiative by freezing prices on essentials.

Boots Everyday was launched in September 2022 to help customers shop the lowest-priced essential items, and offers goods priced between 50p and £2.50. It has seen a 35% rise in sales since its introduction.

The retailer’s Price Lock Promise has been updated following a consultation with charity partner, The Hygiene Bank.

The charity is on the front line of helping people that need hygiene essentials the most. The price of the 400 lines included in Price Lock will be frozen until at least April 2023.

Boots has also launched a “save up to half price on the brands you love” promotion.

The retailer said it is using customer research data to identify the most in-demand brands, and offer  deals of up to 50% off on those lines, including Soap & Glory, Dove and Maybelline.

Additionally, Boots Advantage Card holders can continue to get exclusive savings through Price Advantage.

“It is more important than ever for us to offer winter savings to help our customers through the cost-of-living crisis,” Boots chief customer and commercial officer, Steve Ager said.

“Boots also has a selection of weekly deals that provide great value for money. The Boots £10 Tuesday flash sale is fast becoming a cult favourite with savvy shoppers, alongside Brand of the Week, that offers savings on much-loved brands. And new for January is ‘Freebie Friday’, which enables customers to buy one, get one free on selected popular brands.”
