John Lewis appoints ex-Hobbs boss to board

// John Lewis appoints former Hobbs chief executive Nicky Dulieu as non-executive director
// Dulieu worked at Hobbs for nearly 9 years and currently holds several non-exec roles

John Lewis Partnership has appointed former Hobbs boss Nicky Dulieu as non-executive director, effective immediately.

She will chair the audit and risk committee and replace Andy Martin, who is stepping down after five years.

Dulieu joined Hobbs in 2006 as its financial director before becoming its chief executive between 2008 and 2014.

Prior to the womenswear retailer, she was the finance director of food at M&S.

Dulieu currently holds several non-executive roles including at WHSmith.

John Lewis chairman Sharon White said: “I’m pleased to be welcoming Nicky to the partnership board.

“Her extensive experience and successful track record will be of great value to the partnership as we continue to progress our five-year growth plan.
