Boohoo has released a limited edition Barbie collection to kick off the summer.

The fashion retailer teamed up with Barbie to create the capsule collection, which it said is designed to “combine Boohoo’s fearless and inclusive approach to fashion with the global influence of Barbie”.

The Barbie x Boohoo collection is available to buy today from 8am exclusively on the Boohoo app and 8pm on boohoo.com.

The launch comes before the Barbie film is due to hit UK cinemas on 21 July.

The selection features 39 styles inclusive of accessories, with ready-to-wear sizes ranging from 4-28. The products range in price from £6 to £50.

Boohoo brand director Samantha Helligso said: “While creating the Barbie x Boohoo collection, we wanted to go after the hottest trends of the season while bringing the casual streetwear vibe that we know our girl loves.

“This is a super fun nostalgic collection that will allow you to show your personality through mixing and matching the pieces to customize your wardrobe”.

Mattel head of UK consumer products Jon Spalding also commented: “With Barbiecore everywhere this summer, the partnership with Boohoo is a natural fit and brings this trend, along with Y2K together in one incredible collection.”
