Frasers Group fashion CEO Greg Pateras exits

// Greg Pateras, who leads Missguided and ISawItFirst.com, has left Frasers Group
// He leaves after successfully integrating the brands into the group’s platform

Frasers Group fashion CEO Greg Pateras has left the business this week.

Pateras oversaw the retail giant’s Manchester-based young fashion brands Missguided and ISawItFirst.com, after their acquisition last year, and helped to integrate the businesses into Frasers platform.

He was previously CEO of ISawItFirst, and Frasers opted to promote him to lead its newly-acquired brands last August.

Pateras is understood to have departed following the successful integration, which included moving their warehouse, ecommerce, and core ERP systems.

Frasers bought Missguided out of administration in June last year, and a month later snapped up fellow Manchester fast fashion etailer ISawItFirst.com, which was set up by Jalal Kamani – the brother of Boohoo co-founder Mahmud Kamani.

The retailer said the acquisitions would help the group to “unlock the latest trends in women’s fashion and ecommerce”.

Pateras was hired by Frasers Group due to his wealth of online experience. He had previously led the turnaround and digital transformation of Matalan as deputy CEO and was CFO of online giant The Very Group.

Along with moving the brands onto the platform, Pateras also led Missguided’s relaunch, including bringing it into House of Fraser stores and website. ISawItFirst is now also sold online at House of Fraser.

The Mike Ashley-controlled group has continued its ecommerce buying spree of late, snapping up a £75m stake in Ao.com and growing its shareholding in Asos to more than 10% over the past week.
