Sainsbury’s launches ‘Good food for all’ brand campaign

Sainsbury’s is launching a new brand campaign which seeks to offer good food to all customers, no matter their budget, tastes, dietary requirements or busy daily lives.

The campaign, which goes by the slogan “Good food for all of us”, is set to hit the grocer’s advertising and marketing festive campaigns from November.

Sainsbury’s pointed out that eating good food had become difficult during the cost-of-living crisis, with nine million adults experiencing food insecurity, according to research conducted earlier this year by The Food Foundation.

Referencing recent research from Save The Children, the supermarket pointed out that 30% of parents were skipping meals at least once a week to make sure their children ate.

Sainsbury’s director of brands, planning and creative Radha Davies said: “Everyone at Sainsbury’s is passionate about the food we sell, and this includes not only our 152,000 colleagues up and down the country, but our suppliers, farmers and fishing partners too.

“Yet we recognise that it can sometimes be difficult for customers to have the time, money or inspiration to access the joy that good food can bring.”

She continued: “So, we want to go further by actively helping to put good food – in all of its senses, from quality and taste, to value and accessibility – at the heart of customers’ lives.”

M&S Food has just unveiled its own national campaign, which it claims showcases its “leading product quality and what is behind the magic of M&S food”.
