Lidl has revealed the busiest times for shoppers to visit stores over Christmas and confirmed its shop opening times over the period.

The retailer’s data from last year found the busiest times in store were around midday, with the highest levels of footfall between 12pm and 2pm.

Conversely, the grocer found the quietest times were between 8am and 10am or from 6pm onwards.

The Friday before Christmas historically sees the most footfall according to the discounter, and Lidl expects the same trend this year.
