Zara launches on TikTok Shop

Zara has become the latest brand to launch on TikTok shop, allowing users to purchase its clothing directly through the social network.

The fashion retailer is selling a curated edit from its womens, kids and menswear ranges via TikTok.

The items are available in a range of sizes, and users can scroll down on the listing page to view more images.

Through its partnership with TikTok shop, the fashion retailer can tag products directly in its own videos meaning that users will no longer have to click out of the app to shop the item.

It comes as Zara adopts a new marketing strategy, which has seen it experiment with more user-generated content (UGC)-style online product displays over a traditional editorial style.

TikTok has been building out its TikTok shop offer in recent months, including launching a new ‘refurbished technology’ product category for users to buy second-hand mobile phones and tablets.

The social media platform unveiled a new logistics programme for UK sellers in August, designed to make it “easier” for merchants to sell their goods on the shop.

The “Fulfilled by TikTok” (FBT) service takes care of the “time-consuming” logistics so that merchants can focus on the other areas of their business.
