Adidas has reached an agreement with Kanye West, wrapping up all legal proceedings, according to the sportswear giant.
It comes after Adidas and West, who is known as Ye, have been involved in multiple lawsuits over the last two years after the sportswear brand scrapped a partnership with the artist due to antisemitic comments he made in 2022.
Speaking on a conference call on Tuesday, Adidas CEO Bjorn Gulden said: “There isn’t any more open issues, and there is no… money going either way, and we both move on.
“There were tensions on many issues [but] … both parties said we don’t need to fight any more.”
The executive added that the drama with West “belongs to the past”.
Last year, Adidas revealed it would be selling the remaining products from its Yeezy partnership with Kanye West and donating the proceeds to charity, with the brand sitting on more than £867m (€1bn) worth of stock at the time.
It went on to receive orders worth about $565m for 4 million pairs of unsold Yeezy shoes as of July 2023.
