Fanatics is set to make its bricks-and-mortar debut with a standalone store on London’s Regent Street.

The online sports merchandise retailer currently runs shops in stadiums and sports venue on behalf of the partner clubs.

The opening date of its first standalone location remains unclear, Retail Week reported.

Fanatics first entered the UK in 2016 after it acquired its competitor Kitbag to grow its presence internationally.

The etailer partners with more than 900 of the largest sporting organisations in the world, including Chelsea, Paris Saint-Germain, AC Milan, Inter, Atletico Madrid, UEFA, NFL, NBA, NHL, MLB and Formula 1.

Fanatics expanded its partnership with the Football Association (FA) in August in a deal that will see it hold onto its ecommerce rights to run the official online England store, and physical shops during England home games, domestic cup finals and concerts at Wembley Stadium.

It said that the Euros had been a record-breaking tournament for its England merchandise revenues, with the team’s 2024 kit roll out having “shattered site records on launch day”.
