Former Harrods director Nigel Blow will no longer join Fenwick as its new chief executive, according to the BBC.
His decision comes after multiple sexual assault and rape allegations were made against Harrods’ previous owner Mohamed Al Fayed.
The BBC broadcast a documentary last month based on the accounts of over 20 women who said they had been assaulted by Al Fayed while working at the luxury department store.
Barristers representing the alleged victims said this week that the Justice For Harrods Survivors campaign now has more than 70 clients.

Blow worked for Harrods for 14 years between 1992 to 2007 – a period where the business was owned by Al Fayed.
Fenwick told Retail Gazette: “In July 2024, we announced that we would be appointing Nigel Blow as CEO of Fenwick. Nigel Blow has informed us that he will no longer be taking up this position.”
The former executive was set to join Fenwick later this month from department store chain Morleys.
It is not clear whether Blow will retain his position at Morleys.
