JoJo Maman Bébé has appointed former FatFace chief operating officer Mark Wright as its interim chief executive.
Wright, who left the fashion retailer this week, will start his new role at the end of October as the mother and baby brand’s current boss Gwynn Milligan steps down, Retail Week reported.
Milligan joined JoJo Maman Bébé in 2017 as its commercial director before being promoted to CEO in April 2022.
Wright’s departure from FatFace was announced earlier this year, with the retailer mentioning he would oversee its transition to new owner Next before pursuing “opportunities outside of FatFace”.
He wrote in a LinkedIn post earlier this week that he felt “privileged” to have worked for the fashion retailer and thanked CEO Will Crumbie and former chief executive Liz Evans for their support during his time at the company.
Wright said he had “planned a break” but confirmed he was starting a new role at the end of October.
