Charles Tyrwhitt has opened its 50th store at Southampton’s Westquay shopping centre, marking a significant milestone in the brand’s expansion.
The new store features the menswear retailer‘s range of formal and smart casualwear, including shirts, suits, polos, knitwear, shoes, and accessories, along with its latest autumn/winter collections.
It also offers one-on-one styling appointments, aligning with Tyrwhitt’s ethos of helping men “look good and feel good – effortlessly.”
As part of its sustainability efforts, the store promotes the ‘Tyrwhitt or not’ shirt and suit donation scheme, rewarding customers with discounts for bringing in old garments. It said the initiative has raised over £3m for The British Heart Foundation.
Chief marketing officer Joe Irons said: “We’re incredibly excited to be opening our newest store in the heart of Southampton.
“This new store marks a significant step in our journey to connect with more customers across the UK, offering them exceptional service, timeless style, and high-quality products.
“Southampton is an ideal location for the 50th Charles Tyrwhitt store due to its vibrant economy, rich cultural heritage, and status as a key shopping destination on the south coast.
“Its bustling city centre, anchored by the renowned Westquay Shopping Centre, attracts a diverse mix of locals, tourists, and professionals, aligning with our mission of making it easier for men to dress well. We look forward to welcoming both loyal customers and first-time visitors to experience our brand in this fantastic new space!”
