Primark has launched its biggest-ever athletic performance collection, marking a major expansion of its athleisure offering for 2025.

The retailer‘s new range includes over 150 products across menswear, womenswear, kidswear, and accessories, featuring innovations like four-way stretch, sweat-wicking, and breathable fabrics.

New items include leggings, seam-free sports bras, performance trainers, and shower-resistant outdoor workout gear for both men and children.

Primark said the collection, which starts at £2.80, aims to provide high-quality performance wear at affordable prices.

The expanded collection is now available in all stores, featuring technical fabrics and designs suited for both athletes and athleisure fans alike.

Primark said its new performance collection has been tested under its Durability Framework, ensuring that low prices do not compromise durability.

The relaunch also includes dedicated in-store zones in selected locations, featuring active pose mannequins, lifestyle images, and fitness-inspired props. These zones will begin rolling out in March.

In addition to the expanded product line, Primark has rebranded the collection, replacing its previous “Workout” logo with a new embossed version for easier identification.

The launch is supported by Primark’s “Unstoppable You” digital campaign, which highlights brand ambassadors including Aadam Hamed, a boxer; Adele Roberts, a runner and cancer survivor; Abbie Wood, an Olympic swimmer; Ashley Cain, an extreme ultra-athlete; and Bryony Gordon, an advocate for mental health through exercise.

The retailer’s chief product officer Steve Lawton said: “We want our customers to be focused on their performance, and looking and feeling good, not breaking a sweat on how much it will cost them.

“Primark is proving it’s possible to bring high performing, innovative fabrications and features to athleisure affordably: our customers are loving these new fabrications especially our buttery soft and seamfree ranges.

“This relaunch includes our biggest ever performance range with new branding on the product and within our stores. This category has doubled for us year on year as consumers look to us for performance wear that works, in the gym and out of it, at prices for all budgets.”
