M&S has launched Sparks preferential rates on travel money, offering loyalty members better deals when they’re taking out new currency.
The fashion and home retailer has also introduced a click and collect service for over 50 currencies across more than 560 of stores nationwide, alongside its 96 Bureaux de change.
It said the launch was part of a wider transformation of M&S’ financial services business, focused on giving customers a better, more relevant experience.
M&S director of financial services Katherine Carlson said: “We want to be able to reward our Sparks customers for their loyalty and what better way to do so than helping their money go further on holiday.
“And with customers now able to pick up their travel money in more of our stores than ever before, it has never been easier to get ready for your holiday with M&S.
“Offering our customers the very best products, services and rewards are a key part of the transformation of our financial services offering and this is just the latest step in that journey.”
It is not the first retailer this month to launch new travel money products in time for the summer holidays, with Waitrose introducing a “last minute” service in 100 of its stores across the country last week.
Shoppers are able to collect pre-packed amounts of €250 and $250 from the welcome desks of participating stores.
