Topshop and Topman are set to return to the runway this summer, with a London fashion show planned for August to mark the relaunch of the brands’ online platforms and preview the Autumn/Winter 2025 collections.

The upcoming event will be the first Topshop runway since 2018 and forms part of a wider push to revive the once-dominant high street names under new ownership, Hypebae reported.

Now part of a joint venture between Asos and holding company Heartland, the brands are set to relaunch standalone Topshop.com and Topman.com in the coming weeks, with new permanent physical retail space also in the pipeline.

The show will follow a ‘See Now, Buy Now’ model — allowing customers to shop select items immediately, while previewing other seasonal pieces ahead of launch.

The collection will include statement outerwear, sharp tailoring, and classic denim.

Topshop is also launching an open casting in collaboration with Wilhelmina Models, inviting new and unsigned talent to walk the show as part of a campaign to bring fresh energy to the brand. The move mirrors a broader strategy to engage younger shoppers and rebuild cultural relevance.

Following the runway, the event will continue with a branded street party featuring live music, DJ sets, and surprise guests.

The fashion show comes as Topshop’s managing director Michelle Wilson confirmed the brand’s return to bricks-and-mortar retail later this year.

Wilson said the company was preparing to launch a “semi-permanent” high street presence in August, ahead of a more permanent standalone retail rollout planned for autumn.

Topshop was acquired by Asos in 2021 following the collapse of Arcadia, with the online retailer later selling a 75% stake in the brand to Heartland in 2024 for £135m to form a new joint venture.

The runway event is expected to serve as a key brand moment in the ongoing relaunch.
