Pet retailer Jollyes has teamed up with Uber Eats to offer a rapid delivery service of its pet food, accessories and toy ranges, with items arriving in as little as 30 minutes.
The business is trialling its ‘Zoomies’ service across 13 of its stores in the UK ahead of a full nationwide rollout.
Customers based within a five-mile radius of selected Jollyes stores will be able to order from more than 2000 lines via the instant delivery app, including the retailer’s frozen raw food range.
Jollyes chief executive Joe Wykes said: “We’re so excited to launch our trial with Uber Eats and become their first national pet partner.
“The new service will allow us to reach more shoppers than ever before, more quickly than we ever have,” Wykes added.
Uber Eats UK head of grocery and new verticals Katie Hunter said: “As people increasingly turn to Uber Eats for more than just takeaway, we’re excited to be partnering with Jollyes to bring an even broader range of everyday essentials to the app.
“From pet food to toys, it’s now easier than ever for owners to get what they need for their pets, delivered at the touch of a button.”
The pet specialist is the latest retailer to launch on Uber Eats, with John Lewis partnering with the platform last month to offer a curated selection of 150 products across nursery, beauty, and gifting.
The department store chain is piloting the rapid delivery service out of its Leeds and Stratford locations.
Jollyes which are stores part of the trial include: Ashton-under-Lyne, Bolton, Dartford, Eccles, High Wycombe, Portsmouth North Harbour, Sheffield, Willenhall, Cardiff in Wales, as well as Clydebank, East Kilbride, Edinburgh Hermiston Gait in Scotland and Newtonabbey in Northern Ireland.
