Fashion retailer Quiz Clothing saw a sales boost over the summer, following its successful restructuring.
The Scottish fashion brand recorded an average 14% rise in like-for-like store revenues over July and August.
Online sales were up 5% on a like-for-like basis over the period. The sales rise followed a “wide-reaching operational streamlining strategy” launched by the retailer in February.
This involved the business making “significant” investments in product design, buying and merchandising, with the brand “recruiting new talent, introducing fresh product categories and adding supply partners from closer-to-home territories”, said a statement.
Earlier in the year, the company launched same day click and collect throughout its UK stores and it will be rolling out online fulfilment from in-store this season.
Quiz Clothing CEO Sheraz Ramzan said: “We are encouraged to see the results of our restructure at Quiz Clothing reflected by this uplift in sales.
“While the Quiz DNA remains rooted in occasion wear and helping our customers look and feel great through quality-first designs, we have seen an exceptional reaction to our renewed focus on casualwear, coordinated separates and transitional ranges.”
It comes after Quiz entered administration in February, resulting in the closure of 23 stores and the loss of approximately 200 jobs.
The business which delisted from the London stock exchange in January, appointed Teneo as administrator after ongoing financial struggles.
