Clothing brand AllSaints has announced the appointment of East London designer Aaron Esh (above) as chief creative officer, effective 3 November.

A graduate of Central Saint Martins, Esh launched his eponymous label in 2022, “gaining recognition for a distinctive aesthetic that merges Savile Row tailoring discipline with British subcultural influences”, said the fashion retailer.

His work has earned him a nomination for the LVMH Prize, selection for the BFC NEWGEN programme, and a regular presence at London Fashion Week.

“AllSaints is a brand I’ve grown up with, its London sensibility, commitment to craft and ability to fuse edge with refinement have always stood out to me,” he said.

“I believe there’s a space where design, cultural relevance and accessibility meet, and AllSaints sits right at that intersection. There’s a real opportunity to build on what already makes it powerful and evolve it for a new generation.”

Esh will continue to operate his independent label, AARON ESH, alongside his new position.

He will report directly to Peter Wood, chief executive officer of AllSaints and will be responsible for shaping the brand’s creative direction across menswear and womenswear, leading design, campaigns, digital identity and overall brand tone from AllSaints’ East London studios.

Wood said: “Aaron brings a perspective that aligns with our blend of craftsmanship and identity, and I’m confident he will seek out and deliver what makes this brand globally distinctive. We’re delighted to welcome him and look forward to shaping the next chapter of AllSaints together.”
