Quiz Clothing is set to launch between five and ten new UK shops over the next year.
The Scottish fashion brand’s expansion plans, which follow an operational restructuring of the business earlier this year, include a particular focus on the south of England and London.
The proposed shops are set to follow the design concept revealed at the retailer’s recently relocated site in Braehead, Glasgow, which launched last month.
The 1,800 sq ft Braehead shop includes white and gold fittings, digital screens and enhanced product displays.
Its launch helped Quiz to deliver a 20% year on year sales boost across the company in September, according to the brand.
The updated shop design will be rolled out across new areas to display the brand’s expanded ranges, which include co-ordinated separates, contemporary tailoring and day-to-evening dresses.
Quiz Clothing CEO Sheraz Ramzan said: “We have evolved our retail formula at Quiz and, encouraged by a strong uplift in like-for-like retail sales over the summer, we are confident the new strategy is working.
“The plan is to expand in the right locations through units that provide the best possible backdrop for our extended product offering.”
He added: “This will be underpinned by an improved capex and return model with more flexible lease terms.”
Quiz Clothing reported a sales uplift over the summer last month, following its successful restructuring.
The group recorded an average 14% rise in like-for-like store revenues over July and August, as well as a 5% rise in online like for like sales over the period.
