Home improvement retailer B&Q is extending its partnership with Deliveroo to trial the service beyond London and Brighton, taking it to a further 29 major UK cities and large towns.

The extension means more shoppers now have “easier and speedier” access to around 10,000 products for on-demand delivery, according to the business.

Additionally, it offers one of the fastest store-to-home delivery services for consumers, with Deliveroo delivering within as little as 25 minutes, the DIY giant said.

Since its launch in 2024, the B&Q and Deliveroo trial has evolved from only being in London and Brighton at B&Q local stores, to extending to larger London stores.

B&Q supply and logistics director Amelie Gallichan-Todd said: “We’re constantly exploring new ways to offer our customers more flexible and convenient ways to shop.

“By further expanding our trial with Deliveroo, to now cover 31 major UK cities and large towns, we’re offering customers – both existing and new – easier and speedier access to around 10,000 B&Q products to help them get their home improvement projects done.”

She added: “As customer expectations continue to change, we continue to evolve and remain focused on making it even easier for people to access the products they want, when and where they want them.”

The service is now available in the following areas:

  • Aberdeen
  • Bedford
  • Birmingham
