Dreams has appointed Matt Richardson as its new director of production, as the retailer continues to invest in manufacturing.
Richardson joins the UK bed retailer from Bensons for Beds, where he was head of manufacturing.
He brings more than 20 years’ production and manufacturing leadership experience in the bedroom furniture sector, having also held senior roles at Steinhoff UK Beds and Hilding Anders.
“I’m really pleased to be joining the team at Dreams,” he said.
“Now is an exciting time to come on board, with strong foundations already in place at Oldbury and a clear focus on the next phase of growth. I am enjoying getting to know the team and building on the excellent work currently underway.”

In his new role, Richardson will lead production at the Dreams Bed Factory in Oldbury, West Midlands, and join the company’s senior leadership team.
