Quiz Clothing administrators have stepped up its clearance sale throughout its stores as it presses ahead with its hunt for a buyer.
The increased discounting comes after the fashion retailer fell into administration last week, with more than 100 redundancies confirmed after a tough Christmas trading period.
The news marked the second time Quiz has collapsed into administration within a year.
The company’s online store immediately shut after the administrators’ appointment.
Head of Interpath in Scotland Alistair McAlinden said: “Since our appointment on 5 February, trading across the Quiz store portfolio has been extremely positive.
“We’d like to advise customers that all 40 stores remain open, and we will now be commencing additional clearance discounts across all remaining stock.”
The advisory firm’s managing director Geoff Jacobs added: “We also urge any remaining parties with an interest in acquiring the stock, store operations and infrastructure of Quiz to contact us as soon as possible.”
